How Much Does House Cleaning Cost in Roanoke, VA?

3. Condition at the first visit
A home that has been professionally cleaned every two weeks for a year is a different job from a home that has not had a deep clean in three years. This is why first visits are often quoted higher, or why a deep clean is recommended before starting a recurring plan.
4. Type of clean

5. Frequency
More frequent visits cost less per visit, because there is less accumulated work each time. Weekly cleaning has the lowest per-visit price; quarterly has the highest, because each visit is closer to a deep clean. This is genuine economics rather than a loyalty discount.
6. Pets
Pet hair adds vacuuming time, and it is not a small effect in a shedding season. It is worth mentioning up front so your quote is accurate rather than optimistic.
7. Add-ons and travel
Interior oven and refrigerator cleaning, interior windows, laundry, and organizing each add time. So does travel distance if you are outside the City of Roanoke. Both should appear in your quote before you agree, never after the work is done.

- Ask who is coming. One cleaner for four hours and two cleaners for two hours are the same labour but very different experiences.
- Ask about insurance and ask to see it. Any company should be able to produce a certificate of insurance on request.
- Ask what happens if something is missed. A clear answer is worth more than a slogan.
