How often

Usually a rough clean once trades are finished, then a final detail before handover. Ask about both.

How long it takes

Longer than a deep clean and highly variable. This one genuinely requires a walkthrough or detailed photos to quote well.

How this is priced

Cristina’s Classy Cleaning quotes every job individually rather than publishing a flat rate that would be wrong for most homes. These are the factors that move the number:

  • Square footage and how much of the property was worked on
  • How much dust is present and whether debris has been removed first
  • Whether you need one pass or a rough clean plus a final detail
  • Site access, power, and water availability
  • Travel distance if you are outside the City of Roanoke

How to prepare

None of this is required, but each one puts more of the visit into actual cleaning:

  • Have all construction debris and materials removed before we arrive
  • Confirm all trades are finished — cleaning before the last cut is money wasted
  • Make sure power and running water are on
  • Send photos with your quote request; this service is hard to price sight-unseen

Rescheduling

Life happens. Give us as much notice as you can and we will move you without fuss. See our cancellation policy for the details.

Post-Construction Cleaning across the Roanoke Valley

This service is available everywhere we work. The City of Roanoke carries no travel charge; outside the city, travel distance is one of the factors in your quote and is always stated up front.

Good to know

Post-Construction Cleaning — common questions

Why does the dust keep coming back?

Fine construction dust stays airborne for days and settles after the first clean. That is why most projects need a rough clean and then a final detail rather than a single visit.

Do you remove construction debris?

No. Debris, offcuts, and packaging need to be gone before we start. We clean; we do not haul.

Can you remove paint spots or grout haze?

Generally no — those are finishing tasks for the trades who created them, and attempting them risks damaging the new surface.

Do you work with contractors directly?

Yes. If you are a builder handing over to a client, get in touch and we will talk through timing.
